Whether your hair is dry, thinning, struggling to grow or gets greasy quickly we’ve got 4 miracle hair masks you can create at home!

Lockdown is causing absolute havoc right now, but don’t let it cause havoc to your hair. With no sign of hair salons opening anytime soon and beauty products selling out fast, we’ve come up with some solutions to help you care for your hair at home.

These 4 different hair masks use ingredients you’re likely to already have at home if not, you should be able to get them during your next grocery shop!

For all of these masks, feel free to double or half the recipe to suit your hair’s length.

Avocado For Hair That Is Thinning

For Hair That Is Thinning

Hair thinning and shedding can leave us feeling far from our usual selves. Regain thicker and fuller hair with this superfood avocado mask!

You’ll Need:
½ an avocado
1 egg
1 tbs of coconut oil
½ tsp of honey

Simply mix ingredients together, massaging into your scalp and leave for 30 - 40 minutes. Then rinse and wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

I personally recommend drying your hair and brushing your scalp to stimulate blood circulation.  Reduce using heat and styling tools however if you are looking for loose waves in the morning, there is no reason why you can’t blast your hair 90% dry and then tie up into a nice silk scrunchie for the night.

Honey For Hair That Needs Some Hydration

For Hair That Needs Some Hydration

If your hair is looking and feeling a little parched then this is the mask for you. It’s the ultimate hydration treatment that provides shine without weighing down your hair!

You’ll Need:
1 tsp honey
1 egg
1 tbs apple cider vinegar

Simply mix ingredients together, apply to your hair when still dry and leave it on for 30 - 40 minutes. Afterwards rinse and wash your hair as you normally do.

Applying heat to your hair for this second mask definitely adds shine and volume. It is good to protect your hair with protective spray or hair milks. Always invest in good heat styling tools.

You’ll Need…
1 tbs cinnamon

Lemon For Hair That Gets Greasy Quickly

For Hair That Gets Greasy Quickly

There are many things that can cause greasy hair including over washing, exercising and even your body’s natural PH levels. This magical combo helps control your scalp’s oil production whilst balancing out your hair’s PH level!

You’ll need…
Juice of 1 Lemon
¼ Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix ingredients together, apply to your hair and scalp, wrap your hair in a towel and leave this on for 20 minutes. Then simply rinse this out with cold water.

Simone Recommends…

Avoid washing your hair every day and make sure you only apply conditioner to the lengths and ends of your hair. Once fully rinsed, give your hair a blast of cold water to close the pores in your scalp.
