How will Simone Thomas Wellness change next year?

Simone opens her heart in this interview, from her struggles in 2021 to being desperate to get back to travel.

At Simone Thomas Wellness we also took this opportunity to discover more about Simone’s aspirations for 2022 and finished the interview feeling inspired!

How did you find the experience of writing your book Healthy Hair Happy Body?

It took just over five years to write and put together!

I had to keep going back to it time and time again due to having children, and other unexpected issues that needed my time.

It was a hard experience, but one I really enjoyed! No matter how many times you read the final edit you want to go back and add or delete your words. I kept finding myself doing exactly that, till I got to the point where my agents told me to stop, and it was perfect!

I am dyslexic, and I was always embarrassed about it at a young age. So, this was a huge learning curve for me, but also a confidence booster.

I have this year written or contributed to over 60 national press articles! This is something I would not have felt comfortable doing ten years ago.

The biggest reward from the book is the weekly emails I receive from people across the globe who have bought the book and take comfort and joy in reading it and putting it to good use.

It is now available on Kindle, next will be Audible, and there will be international and further promotion in 2022.

Are you thinking of doing any more writing?

I write a lot and contribute to the national press monthly, but for 2022 I will be creating more content that is specific to Simone Thomas Wellness, including free eBooks and downloads.

So many of you have been enjoying them and asked for topics such as men’s health, and women's health at 40 and 60.

Other areas I will concentrate on are vegan and alkaline diets, which I have been studying and enjoying this year. You can download my past, free eBooks here!

What were your magical moments in 2021?

It has been a tough year, but I feel the most magical area is that I feel I have grown as a person. I am more focused on what I want to achieve in my personal life and my business.

Behind closed doors, it has not been an easy year for me, but as my mum always taught me, you must smile and put on a brave face.

I had a lot of magical moments with clients, and they happen monthly via email or calls from across the globe!

In November my first order came in from Tokyo which was exciting, and I always love to build relationships with clients in new countries as we grow.

What has 2021 meant for you?

It has been a year of change, learning and turning 40. I have to say it has probably not been my happiest of years. Towards the end of this year, I was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease which has been a huge blow and one I am still trying to get my head around.

I know I will put effort into learning more about this and writing about it and looking at lifestyle changes as well as future products that support such diseases.

What does not kill you makes you stronger.

If you could choose just one wellness trend to take with you into the new year, what would it be?

Gut and brain health!

The gut is the mothership - so a huge focus on why and how we need to take care of it daily.

For those who don't know where to start, you will find it easy to follow advice, tips on day to day lifestyle changes and gut health in my Amazon bestseller Healthy Hair Happy Body which you can find here.

Do you believe in new year’s resolutions, if so, what are your resolutions for 2021?

I don't, but I do believe in vision boards and goals!

On a personal level, it will be more time at the gym in the morning as part of my routine after the early morning school drop.

I also want to expand my qualifications with further education because I believe knowledge is power!

I’d love to spend more time abroad, when possible, with my two boys. Since 2019 on my vision board, I have had countries such as America, Dubai, France, Germany, and Italy.

For Simone Thomas Wellness to be seen in stores and on the high street will also be on my 2022 board.

What are you looking forward to in 2022?

Renovating my house, my youngest William turning 5, and seeing Simone Thomas Wellness go on the high street internationally.

What do you wish for Simone Thomas Wellness in the new year?

International high street presence! I also want to continue to see the products support and change people’s lives, as well as continue to write and contribute to the national press. I want to relaunch my podcast channel! Basically, just build an army of wellness warriors around the world!
