What is Telogen Effluvium hair loss? 

Telogen effluvium is a condition of temporary hair loss that usually happens after stress, a shock, or a traumatic event or even an illness such as COVID-19. The condition typically is not permanent but can often cause hair loss all over the head but in no real shedding pattern. In most cases, it won't cause you to lose all their hair, but it may become noticeably thin. Telogen effluvium is considered by dermatologists the second most common form of hair loss.

Symptoms and Causes of Telogen Effluvium

Hair loss and thinning hair can look different from person to person, however the main symptom of Telogen Effluvium is an increase in the amount of hair a person sheds every day. On average, we lose around 50-100 hairs a day and you may not even notice this happening.
