Chocolate Chai Smoothie
Adding chai spices to a protein shake is a great way to add a bit of extra flavour to your afternoon snack.
Warming chai spices are packed with antioxidants and ginger, cardamom and cinnamon can help with inflammation and colds.

INGREDIENTS:

1 whole cinnamon stick
-
7 cardamom pods
-
4 peppercorns
-
3 whole cloves
-
½ tsp ground ginger
-
2 Scoops Simone Thomas Pause the Meno Protein Powder

800 ml your favourite milk, we used skinny milk

2 tablets of Simone Thomas Biotin Brilliance
METHOD:

Place the cinnamon, cardamom, peppercorns, cloves and ginger on a medium size pan over a medium heat. Roast the spices for around 2 minutes, stirring frequently until golden and fragrant. Transfer into a bowl to cool.

Place the cooled spices into the food processor bowl and blend to a fine powder.

Add all the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Taste and add some more milk if needed.

Divide between two serving glasses and serve.
